Club Rules
All people of our club are divided into two parts: Members (Active or Inactive) or Guests.
A GUEST is anyone who visits the Club and is not yet a member.
•A Guest, visiting the Club for the first time, is a Newcomer. Newcomers should present themselves at the beginning of the meeting (see Club meeting). Dear Guests – you are welcome to attend Club meetings!
•Guests take part in Club meetings if they have taken a role for this meeting or have been asked during the Table Topic session. Unfortunately guests are not given roles of Chairperson, General Evaluator, TT Master, TT Evaluator, Speakers, Evaluators, Grammarian. It is cruel, bur Members have a privilege of speaking and taking roles.
•If you need any kind of information about the Club, please, don’t hesitate to contact our Vice-President of Membership.
•Our first meeting is free of charge for guests, but beginning from the second one they are charged 20 UAH per meeting. The money should be given to our Treasurer or to the president of the club.
•If you would like to become a member of our club, you should demonstrate good command of English and strong desire to be engaged to Club activities. Please, address to our VP Membership, VP Education or President, who will inform you about the procedure.
Dear Club Members!
•We’d like to inform you that you have not only rights and privileges of this Club but you have club responsibilities.
•You have the right to visit Club meetings without prior notice and participate in all the Club activities: take any role, participate in contests, celebrations vote Club decisions, elect Club Officers. You may serve as Club Officer too, if you are elected.
•You receive Toastmasters International educational materials (manual, magazine etc) and are eligible for Toastmasters International Awards.
•Your responsibilities are: constructive contribution to the Club program and activities and payment of dues. That is all!!!

Dear Sirs,
I’d like to jon your club. Is it possible to come today as a guest or the number of guests is limited? Or I should ask for presence in advance?
Thank you.
Kind regards,

Hello,
I’m looking for an English speaking club in Kiev. To my pity, my English level is not higher than intermediate, so I’m not sure that it is sufficient for participation in the meetings of your club.
I would be appreciating for your comments concerning the necessary English level. Also I would like to visit your next meeting as a guest (May, 26) or any other date, if I late.
Kind regards,
Olga

Hello, Olga
Would be glad to see you on our meetings. The main level of English for our members and guest is level when you can understand verbal communication. We meet every Wednesday at 19:00 at the Kiev House of Scientists. Come and try. You will enjoy it:) And you will improve your English.
Best regards,
Marina

Dear, Tetyana and Elena
Would be glad to meet you. But, because of summer time and changes in our schedule, it is better to call to Oksana Nikiforova. She’ll answer on all your questions about meeting place and time. What about your friends – no limitations:)
See you
Marina

Hello, there. I’ve been looking for english speaking clubs in Kyiv for a long time, but, to speak the truth, I do not know where I can get a lot of speaking practice, as my english grammar is exellent. The main problem is that, I haven’t had real speaking practice since 2009. So I decided to try your club. Now I want to know when I can visit the next meeting or conversatio.
With best regards,
Grygorii
